    'Looking for migrants' across the Tees estuary and 'Happy Birders' walking back along the gare.

    Large rolling breakers cresting along the sea wall at the gare.

    A ruddy darter on the sea wall, basking in the sun, with Duke of Argyll's tea bush in flower on further along the gare

    A not unususal site on the estuary, a dead common seal by the pilot boathouse
